Laureates of the "We are Together" international award were honoured in Moscow
On 5 December 5, the International Volunteer Day, Alexander Averchenkov, Head of the Russia-United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Partnership Support Office, took part in the awards ceremony for foreign laureates of the We Are Together International Prize. The prestigious awards were received by the start-up initiative Targets Hygienic Inc. from Liberia for providing citizens with soap and antiseptics, the International Youth Edu-skills Foundation from India for providing food kits for families who have lost their earnings due to the pandemic, and volunteers from the Chinese Bo Brothers project for providing food and places for rest for doctors from the red zones.
The "We Are Together" Prize ceremony was held for the first time to award Russian and foreign nominees for special services in the field of contributing to solving acute social problems and developing international humanitarian cooperation. In 2021, the award was dedicated to fighting the spread of COVID-19.
