Turkmenistan adopts Russian experience in digital transformation of banking
A Russian expert assisted the State Bank of Turkmenistan in launching a secure mobile application. The application fully complies with international standards, as well as local legislation regarding the protection of personal data and anti-money laundering. It has been successfully published and is available to users on Google Play and the App Store.
To ensure optimal performance, the expert conducted comprehensive testing and debugging of the mobile application on various devices and operating systems. Advanced cybersecurity measures, including data encryption and two-factor authentication, were implemented and tested.
In addition, training sessions were held for the bank’s IT specialists, who now have the necessary skills to independently support and update the application. During the training, the expert presented strategies for preventing financial fraud, unauthorized transactions, and data breaches. The recommendations provided by the expert will enable the Bank’s employees to successfully maintain the application, thus contributing to the further digital transformation of banking services in Turkmenistan.
