Russian expert conducted a selective quality control and energy efficiency of LED lamps in the EAEU countries
From July 30 to November 25, 2018, an international expert from the Russian Federation, Alexander Bogdanov, assessed the LED lamp market in the EAEU countries, developed a methodology for the procurement and use of lamp samples taking into account the specifics of countries in the region and developed qualification criteria for the selection of testing laboratories in the EAEU countries..
Following the results of the work, he prepared the report “Selective control of the quality and energy efficiency of LED lamps in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union”, which was published on the project website.
The task was carried out within the framework of the UNDP-RF regional project of the United Nations Development Program and the UNDP-RF Trust Fund for Development “Standards and regulations for promoting energy efficiency in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union”.
The project is aimed at developing the capacity in the EAEU region to implement the most effective energy efficiency measures in the EAEU countries, in particular, to implement regional pilot programs for selectively monitoring the quality and energy efficiency of instruments and equipment.
