Russian Agro-business expert has joined “Integrated Osh area-based development programme” in Kyrgyzstan

Ibrahim Khashtyrov has joined “Integrated Osh area-based development programme” (Kyrgyzstan), supported by Russia-UNDP Trust Fund for Development as Agro-business expert, under United Nations Volunteer modality. Ibrahim has significant background in agronomy, with more than 10 years of experience as agronomist, consultant, assistant professor and research scientist; he obtained a graduate degree from Kuban State Agrarian University.
Integrated Osh area-based Development Programme aims at sustainable human development in Osh Province and significant reduction of poverty and improving welfare of target communities at risk.
Volunteer component of «Knowledge Management and Capacity Building in the Russia-UNDP Partnership, Phase I» project, implemented in partnership with United Nations Volunteers programme (UNVP) offers a unique modality to support greater deployment of Russian specialists in development project as UN volunteers. Under volunteer modality, Russian specialists with at least 2 years of professional experience, who are deployed as UN volunteers, serve internationally for a period between 6 months to 2 years to share their expertise and knowledge.
