Russian suppliers of digital solutions: how to participate in UNDP tenders

On March 25, 2026, a webinar was held on the participation of Russian companies in the procurement of digital solutions within the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The event was organized with the support of the Project Office of the Digital Attaché Service and the Department of Multilateral Cooperation and Special Projects at the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.

The webinar featured presentations by Anastasia Maximova, Acting Manager of the Russia-UNDP Trust Fund for Development; Tatsiana Lazouskaya, Procurement Associate at the UNDP Office in Belarus; and Timur Aymatdinov, Deputy General Director of the NAFI Analytical Center.

The speakers discussed how demand for digital solutions is developed, how the tender process works, and what suppliers should keep in mind when preparing their bids. They covered the stages of registration on the UNDP procurement platform, procurement methods, and key contract terms in detail. A representative from NAFI shared the company's experience of successfully participating in several UNDP tenders between 2024 and 2026.

Over 20 companies gained practical insights into how UNDP procurement works and had the opportunity to ask questions to experts directly involved in tender procedures.
