All-Russian Young Power Engineer School took place in Anapa

From October 20 to November 2, 2019 the All-Russian Children's Center "Smena" hosted the All-Russian engineering event "Young Power Engineer School" in Anapa - a specialized event aimed at attracting the attention of the younger generation to environmental protection issues, stimulating the creative abilities of young people and professional orientation of schoolchildren in the field of power engineering.

The event brought together 80 high school students from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan interested in energy, energy efficiency and modern technologies.

The educational program of the event combined vocational guidance activities and events to develop personal and teamwork efficiency, timed to coincide with the All-Russian Festival on Energy Efficiency and Ecology #Together Brighter.

The program for schoolchildren was organized by the project partners: JSC SO UES; GC Housing and Public Utilities Reform Support Fund; Rosatom; PJSC Rosseti; PJSC RusHydro; MPEI, Japan Energy Saving Center and Siemens LLC. The Young Power Engineer School was organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the National Research University MPEI. The Reliable Change Foundation was the operator of the educational programme for the third year in a row.

The Young Power Engineer School was organized with the financial support of the Trust Fund's project "Regulatory framework to promote energy efficiency in countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan)".
