Tajikistan actively fosters entrepreneurship and seeks to engage more and more young people in the business environment. In order to support Tajikistan's efforts in this direction, the UNDP Tajikistan Youth for Business and Innovation project, funded by the Government of the Russian Federation, was launched.

In October-December 2020, the project hosted an online course on corporate innovations delivered by the popular Russian platform Generation S. Employees of Tajik organizations and companies were involved in the training, including Avesta Group, Arvand Bank, State Business Incubator of Tajikistan, Asia-Plus Media Holding, Paikar Trading Network, Khujand-Invest-Cotton and others.

The course was aimed at training employees in building innovative processes in the company. The participants noted high quality of education received and described the practical application of the skills acquired: "Earlier I was very sceptical about innovations in business, like many uninformed people, but after the Generation S course I gained a new angle of vision. Thanks to the knowledge I received, currently the team and I are working on the development of an innovative platform for advertising," said Iskandar Ikrami, Executive Director of Asia-Plus Media Holding.

Generation S is a corporate innovation platform, which is part of the International Network for Small and Medium Enterprises, INSME.

The initiative is implemented as part of the UNDP Tajikistan Youth for Business and Innovation project, funded by the Government of the Russian Federation.
