Russian company Strelka KB supports development of the Yerevan youth park
At the beginning of 2020 UNDP in Armenia launched the project on transformation of Armenia’s urban environment piloting in the Yerevan youth park. The methodological support for the project is provided by Strelka KB, a Russian consulting company offering strategic consulting and urban planning services.
Specialists from Strelka KB started to provide methodological support to urban anthropologists in Armenia in March 2020 by conducting interviews with Yerevan citizens in order to collect opinions on the Youth part development. However, the process was interrupted because of the spread of novel coronavirus.
As a response Strelka KB developed a chatbot called Tigran, which conducts survey among Facebook users. Tigran chatbot is a special software application used to conduct on-line chat conversations via text or text-to-speech at any time of the day on Facebook. Chatbot is human-like, he is like a casual neighbor, it collects critiques and suggestions for how to develop the territory, and in return, it shares interesting local lore about the Garden’s landmarks and even visuals from films shot on its territory.
The participation of KB Strelka in the project in Armenia was made possible thanks to the Institutional expertise programme piloted under the project "Knowledge Management and Capacity Building in Russia-UNDP Partnership".
