On 10 June 2021 the final Board meeting of the regional project “Disaster Resilience for Pacific SIDS” took place with the presentation of the achieved results.

The project with funding of US$ 7.5 million has been the largest in UNDR-Russia Trust for Development Portfolio. The region is characterized by an increased number of geo-physical and climate related hazards. Specially tailored and fully operational financial instruments like insurance schemes, crowdfunding, the Pacific Early Recovery Fund will allow fast recovery at the community level.
