Internship for Masters' Students
UNDP is seeking students who will support the implementation of UNDP projects and initiatives in the areas of knowledge management and innovations for sustainable development, sustainable and Inclusive Economic Growth, international trade facilitation, governance and peacebuilding, etc.
Requirements:
- Enrollment in a Graduate Programme (Master’s or equivalent) in the field of international relations, economic and trade development, local/regional development, communications, public administration, business administration, social sciences, environment, or other relevant field. Recent Master's graduates can also be considered (candidate must start the internship 1 year after graduation);
- Written and spoken proficiency in English and Russian;
- Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
- Russian citizenship;
- Work and volunteer experience in the fields and the thematic areas above is an asset.
Eligible candidates are selected on the basis of CV, motivation letter, and interview.
Interns will be selected on a competitive basis for internships in UNDP Partnership Support Office in Moscow (1 week-1 month) and 2-3 months in one of the UNDP country offices in Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan or Istanbul Regional Hub (Turkey, Istanbul).
Internships will be arranged in the period of February-June, 2019. Countries and timing of internships will be agreed with the selected candidates additionally. The costs of travel to/from the UNDP country offices or Istanbul Regional Hub, international medical insurance and accommodation in the countries will be covered.
