Additional applications open for Russian citizens to become United Nations Volunteers
The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, is offering Russian nationals a unique opportunity to gain international experience and help the UN address the challenges of peace and sustainable development around the world. Additional applications are accepted up untill 10th and 18th of March 2020.
Depending on the experience and age of applicants, UNV assignments are available as international UN Youth Volunteers and international UN Volunteers:

(UN Youth Volunteers) Environment and Climate Change Associate Officer with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kenya; Application deadline: 10 March 2020;

(UN Youth Volunteers) Monitoring and Evaluation Associate with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Turkmenistan; Application deadline: 18 March 2020;

(UN Youth Volunteers) Junior Officer, Sustainable Urbanization with UN HABITAT in Kenya; Application deadline: 18 March 2020;

(International UN Volunteers) Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Uzbekistan; Application deadline: 18 March 2020.
Through a one-year UN Volunteer placement in one of the 6 countries, Russian citizens will have the opportunity to act as agents of change in a variety of professional fields, and contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals through volunteerism.
