UNDP and ASI committed to joint collaboration
On 16 December 2020, UNDP and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding, laying the ground for increased cooperation in UNDP programme countries.
Through the Memorandum signed by UNDP Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the CIS Mirjana Spoljaric Egger and ASI Director-General Svetlana Chupsheva the two institutions committed to collaborating on developing the investment climate and institutional environment, supporting business, technology, education, skilling and reskilling of working professions specialists, volunteer movement, social projects and projects in other relevant areas for achieving the fundamental policy objectives of economic growth and human development.
In the framework of cooperation, UNDP and ASI will exchange best practices, digital and institutional solutions to meet the governments’ needs of strategic importance for social and economic development of the countries, including to respond to the COVID-19 crisis.
