Russian expertise was presented at the UNDP-OECD webinar
On 19 November 2020 UNDP together with OECD conducted an online ODA Learning Series 2020 webinar about the emerging donors' experience in deploying development expertise and the COVID-19 impact.
The webinar’s goal was to demonstrate that the emerging donors, including the Russian Federation, provide not only financial resources for development but also expertise in a broad range of areas, which can have a significant impact on the achievement of the SDGs.
During the webinar, speakers overviewed the existing modalities of expertise deployment available under the Russia-UNDP Partnership along with those formats of expertise available under Czech and Romanian partnerships. The participants discussed how to scale up the positive effects of expertise, the results of the deployment, and how to adapt them in the context of the global pandemic.
The event was attended by more than 50 people and received highly positive feedback from the participants.
